Manila Ran Out of Water

Post by Ateo on Thu Jul 22, 2010 9:25 am

Manila ran out of water. Congress is exploring all options including naming Aquino as the water czar. I don't understand it because how could becoming water czar makes him more powerful or effective when he is already president.

http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/nation/view/20100721-282370/Aquino-asked-to-become-water-czar-to-solve-crisis

I think the only option that Congress has not explored yet is, you know, God! With a flick of his invisible finger, God could fill up Angat Dam in an instance, can He not? So why does not He? Is He testing the faith of Manila? Is He annoyed that Brother Eddie did not win? Did He decide that the Oratio was not hard enough? I really wonder what he is doing. When P-Noy won the elections many thanked God, but now that P-Noy got a serious problem, nobody is blaming God. I would blame Him.

What should we do with a God that keeps our non-Christian neighboring countries all rich but keeps us continually poor? Truly, He must really love the poor because He made so many of us.

I recall one time, we were under a dry spell. The people resorted to prayers and asked god to bring rain and so god heeded the prayers and brought torrential rains! Talk about prayers being answered.....but the only problem was there was too much rain it flooded many areas and resulted in so many deaths...

as the saying goes....be careful what you wished for....lol

Did god miscalculated?

People should pray to Tlaloc, the Aztec Rain God.

No use praying to Yahweh the Mountain God this time. Smile

Namaste!

Element, Tlaloc is very effective indeed, He delivers rain indeed better than those desert-based Gods. But you are crazy in recommending dear old Tlaloc. He demands child sacrifice. And, in this site, the only child I can think of is PusoniMaria.

Desperate times require desperate measures. Besides, why waste all those dead fetuses and day old babies being thrown in sewers and landfills by irresponsible parents that we see in the news? Better make their deaths the sacrifice that we badly need. In doing so, at least we'd be comforted to know that these little angels didn't die in vain. Sad

Korek.
